Privacy Policy — PanelVPN Shield

This page covers specifically PanelVPN Shield, our consumer VPN product (WireGuard tunnel to our exit servers). For the general PanelVPN platform policy (router management), see the general privacy policy.

1. What we never log

• The content of your Internet traffic once inside the tunnel
• The websites or destination IP addresses you visit
• The history of your DNS queries
• A timestamped log of your individual connection sessions

2. What we retain (operational minimum)

To operate and bill the service, we retain:

• Your account, plan and payment history (via the DigadiGaPlus aggregator — Moov Money, Orange Money, Sama Money, card)
• The name you give each device, its WireGuard public key and the internal VPN IP address assigned to it
• A cumulative bandwidth counter (MB/GB sent/received) per device, and the timestamp of its last handshake — for technical support, not a session-by-session history

3. What is inherent to the WireGuard protocol

Like any WireGuard server, our exit servers know in memory (not in a persistent log) the last public IP address your device connected from — required to route return packets. This information is not written to a log file and is lost on service restart.

4. DNS resolution

By default, your WireGuard configuration uses the public DNS resolvers Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) and Google (8.8.8.8). We do not log your DNS queries, but these resolvers are operated by third parties and subject to their own policies. You can replace the "DNS" field in your configuration file with the resolver of your choice before importing it into your WireGuard client.

5. Server locations

Our exit servers are currently located in France and Germany. The list of available countries is shown when adding a device in your account.
